Sister taxa: Lytvolasma asymetricum, Lytvolasma aucta, Lytvolasma ellipticum, Lytvolasma insolitum, Lytvolasma lhazeense

Type specimen: GSC 117166. Its type locality is GSC C-10464, Van Hauen Pass, Ellesmere Island (136.6 m), which is in a Wuchiapingian marine siltstone in the Degerbols Formation of Canada.

Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Permian of Canada (2: Nunavut collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
