Type specimen: MOZ 4386 V, a partial skeleton (articulated skull and mandible, fused atlas and axis, and the first cervical vertebrae). Its type locality is Chacaico Sur, Los Molles, which is in a Bajocian offshore shale/marl in the Los Molles Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Chacaico Sur, Los Molles
