Type specimen: UALVP 46606, a mandible (incomplete left and right dentaries). Its type locality is Saxonella Locality, which is in a Ti3 lacustrine siltstone/shale in the Paskapoo Formation of Canada.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of Canada (5: Alberta collections)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
