Type specimen: PVL 3830, a partial skeleton (skull and postcranium). Its type locality is Quebrada de los Jachaleros, which is in a Norian fluvial-lacustrine siliciclastic in the Los Colorados Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: carnivore
Distribution: found only at Quebrada de los Jachaleros
