Type specimen: TMM 31025-12, a set of postcrania (Ilium). Its type locality is Otis Chalk Quarry 1, SMU Loc. 122, TMM 31025, which is in a Carnian/Norian crevasse splay mudstone/mudstone in the Colorado City Formation of Texas.
