Type specimen: MPEF-PV1152, a partial skull (basicranium). Its type locality is Queso Rallado, near Cerro Cóndor, which is in a Toarcian/Bajocian lacustrine mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in the Cañadón Asfalto Formation of Argentina.

Distribution: found only at Queso Rallado, near Cerro Cóndor
