- Metriorhynchus brachyrhynchus: NHMUK PV R3700 (neotype), a skull (almost complete skull)
- Metriorhynchus cultridens: BMNH R3804, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Peterborough area, Leeds Collection, which is in a Callovian offshore mudstone in the Oxford Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
