Type specimen: YPFB Pal 6121, a maxilla (left maxilla with P4-M3). Its type locality is Tiupampa site 1, the “quarry”, which is in a Danian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Lucía Formation of Bolivia.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of Bolivia (2 collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
