Type specimen: MNHN-ALM1, a skull. Its type locality is Locality XVI, Azendoh, which is in a Carnian terrestrial sandstone/conglomerate in the Timezgadiouine Formation of Morocco.

Distribution: found only at Locality XVI, Azendoh
