Sister taxon: Santanadactylus brasilensis
Type specimen: BSP 1980 I 121, a set of limb elements (Partial forelimb). Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general)
