Type specimen: CAS 1720, a shell. Its type locality is CAS Loc. 850, Quebrada Mancora [Negritos Fm], which is in an Eocene marine horizon in the Negritos Formation of Peru.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at CAS Loc. 850, Quebrada Mancora [Negritos Fm]
