Type specimen: CMC VP 6941, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Logan County [Smoky Hill Chalk Mbr, Niobrara Fm], which is in a Coniacian/Santonian marine lime mudstone in the Niobrara Formation of Kansas.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Logan County [Smoky Hill Chalk Mbr, Niobrara Fm]
