Type specimen: CM 70403, a tooth (right m2). Its type locality is Red Hot, which is in a Wasatchian estuary/bay sandstone in the Tuscahoma Formation of Mississippi.

Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore

Distribution: found only at Red Hot
