Type specimen: MNHN PM69, a partial skull (rostrum preserving max with P3-4 and M1-3). Its type locality is Quarry A4, Sidi Chennane, which is in a Thanetian marine phosphorite in the Couche II Formation of Morocco.
Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser
Distribution: found only at Quarry A4, Sidi Chennane
