Type specimen: UNAM IGM 8621, a skeleton (Near complete skeleton with soft tissue remains). Its type locality is El Rosario, which is in a Turonian/Coniacian offshore shelf lime mudstone/marl in Mexico.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at El Rosario
