Type specimen: CSRL 12692/12713, a partial skull (3D anterior part of skull). Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general)
