Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: CHO-BT 4, a tooth (right upper M2). Its type locality is Beticha, which is in a MN 9 marine conglomerate in the Chorora Formation of Ethiopia.

Ecology: arboreal omnivore

Distribution: found only at Beticha
