Type specimen: OMNH 25400, a partial skull (right premaxilla). Its type locality is Smoky Hollow Member (OMNH V4), which is in a Turonian fluvial-lacustrine claystone in the Straight Cliffs Formation of Utah.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution: found only at Smoky Hollow Member (OMNH V4)
