Type specimen: ANSP IP 79631, an exoskeleton (nearly complete specimen including carbonized cuticle). Its type locality is Red Hill Locality, which is in a Famennian channel sandstone in the Catskill Formation of Pennsylvania.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Red Hill Locality
