Sister taxon: Borodinopristis shannoni

Type specimen: AMNH 12136, an other (rostral spine). Its type locality is Hannahatchee Creek, unit 3, which is in a Santonian/Campanian estuary/bay sandstone in the Blufftown Formation of Georgia.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of United States (4: Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina collections)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
