Type specimen: ICMCF 116, an other (rostral spine). Its type locality is Iwaki, Santonian, which is in a Santonian marine horizon in the Tamayama Formation of Japan.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Iwaki, Santonian
