Sister taxon: Lepidasterella babcocki

Type specimen: Holotype UM5476, paratypes UM5105, UM5477, UM5478. Its type locality is Bear Gulch (Carnegie Museum Collection), which is in an Arnsbergian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Heath Formation of Montana.

Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Bear Gulch (Carnegie Museum Collection)
