Type specimen: TMM 43072-1, a partial skeleton (mandible, hyoid, carapace plates, part of the plastron, and limb elements). Its type locality is TMM 43072, which is in a Campanian shoreface sandstone in the Aguja Formation of Texas.
Ecology: aquatic omnivore
Distribution: found only at TMM 43072
