Belongs to Purgatorius according to C. S. Scott et al. 2016

Sister taxa: Purgatorius ceratops, Purgatorius coracis, Purgatorius janisae, Purgatorius mckeeveri, Purgatorius titusi, Purgatorius unio

Type specimen: RSM P3195.1, a mandible (right femur). Its type locality is Pine Cree Park, which is in a Danian terrestrial sandstone in the Ravenscrag Formation of Canada.

Ecology: arboreal insectivore-omnivore

Distribution: found only at Pine Cree Park
