Sister taxa: Khirtharia dayi, Khirtharia inflatus

Type specimen: H-GSP 97192, a tooth (left [upper] M3). Its type locality is Gali Jhagir, which is in an Eocene terrestrial mudstone in the Chorgali Formation of Pakistan.

Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser

Distribution: found only at Gali Jhagir
