Type specimen: TMM 41672-226, a maxilla (partial left maxilla with alveolus for P3, and P4–M1 intact). Its type locality is Purple Bench, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Devil's Graveyard Formation of Texas.
Ecology: arboreal insectivore
Distribution: found only at Purple Bench
