Type specimen: PSS-MAE 607, a partial skeleton (incomplete skull, left mandible, atlas, axis, vertebrae, ribs, forelimb, and astragalus). Its type locality is Maelestes type locality, Ukhaa Tolgod, which is in a Campanian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Djadokhta Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Maelestes type locality, Ukhaa Tolgod
