Sister taxon: Corviconodon utahensis

Type specimen: OMNH 33457, a mandible (part of right mandible with distal root of last premolar (p4?), mesial root and distal half of m1, m2-3, roots of m5, and m5 in early eruption). Its type locality is Cloverly (OMNH V920), which is in an Albian/Cenomanian terrestrial horizon in the Cloverly Formation of Montana.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Cloverly (OMNH V920)
