Type specimen: University of Alberta Geological Museum Ct. 1113, a shell. Its type locality is Dunvegan Creek [Kaskapu Fm], which is in a Cenomanian marine shale in the Kaskapau Formation of Canada.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Canada (3: Alberta, British Columbia collections), United States (1: Minnesota)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
