Type specimen: University of Alberta Geological Museum Ct. 1116, a shell. Its type locality is Castle River [Kaskapu Fm], which is in a Cenomanian marine shale in the Kaskapau Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Canada (2: Alberta collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
