Type specimen: AMNH 42971. Its type locality is AMNH3026, Windowblind Butte, San Rafael Swell, which is in a Smithian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal packstone in the Moenkopi Formation of Utah.

Ecology: epifaunal grazer

Distribution:
