Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: CM zfa35, a partial skeleton (associated part skeleton with right tibiotarsus, proximal fibula, tarsometatarsus, and pelvis with synsacrum and four caudal vertebrae). Its type locality is Waipara River M34/f453, which is in a Selandian/Thanetian coastal horizon in the Waipara Greensand Formation of New Zealand.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Waipara River M34/f453
