Sister taxon: Selmasaurus russelli
Type specimen: FHSM VP-13910, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is 3 miles southwest of Castle Rock, which is in a Santonian marine horizon in the Niobrara Formation of Kansas.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore
Distribution: found only at 3 miles southwest of Castle Rock
