Type specimen: THUg 3338, a partial skeleton (skull, lower jaws, partial disarticulated shell, nearly complete plastron, and limb bones). Its type locality is Ouled Abdoun Basin Recette 4, which is in a Danian marine phosphorite in the Couche 2 Formation of Morocco.
Ecology: amphibious omnivore
Distribution: found only at Ouled Abdoun Basin Recette 4
