Type specimen: SDS/VPL 1125, a skull (complete crushed skull). Its type locality is Amboli Quarry, which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial-deltaic tuff in the Intertrappean Formation of India.

Ecology: amphibious omnivore

Distribution: found only at Amboli Quarry
