Type specimens:
- Eubaculites latecarinatus: CPC 2718, a shell. Its type locality is Giralia Anticline (Brunnschweiler collection, Korojon Calcarenite), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate limestone in the Korojon Formation of Australia.
- Giralites quadrisulcatus: CPC 2722, a shell. Its type locality is Marilla Anticline (Korojon calcarenite), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate limestone in the Korojon Formation of Australia.
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Australia (5 collections), South Africa (3), United States (8: Alabama, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri)
Total: 16 collections each including a single occurrence
