Type specimen: UPI R 163, a partial skeleton (A nearly complete skeleton). Its type locality is Bilby's Ranch, Beaver Creek, which is in a Santonian/Campanian marine chalk in the Niobrara Formation of Kansas.

Ecology: aquatic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Sweden (3 collections), United States (3: Alabama, Kansas)

Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
