Type specimen: TMM 924, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Lake Waco Dam, which is in a Cenomanian marine shale in the Eagle Ford Formation of Texas.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution: found only at Lake Waco Dam
