Type specimen: CNHM P27330, a shell (nearly complete carapace and plastron, girdle elements, and vertebral fragments). Its type locality is Moore Brothers Farm, which is in a Santonian carbonate limestone in Alabama.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of United States (10: Alabama collections)

Total: 10 collections each including a single occurrence
