Type specimen: HMN-F00005, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Monde-cho, which is in a Burdigalian estuary/bay sandstone/limestone in the Itahashi Formation of Japan.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore-suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Monde-cho
