Type specimen: SGO.PI 5988, a shell. Its type locality is SGOPI loc. 031282, 1 km north of Matanzas, Cardenal Caro Province, which is in a Tortonian foreshore sandstone in the Navidad Formation of Chile.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at SGOPI loc. 031282, 1 km north of Matanzas, Cardenal Caro Province
