Sister taxa: Cowiella granulata, Cowiella reticulata, Cowiella undulata
Type specimen: UB 44, an other. Its type locality is Rushton, which is in an Atdabanian carbonate limestone in the Lower Comley Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: facultatively mobile shallow infaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Cambrian of the United Kingdom (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
