Type specimen: Z. Pal. Mgm-III/27, a mandible (sin. with i2, m1-m3). Its type locality is Tatal Gol, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Hsanda Gol Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore

Distribution:

• Oligocene of China (1 collection), Kazakhstan (2), Mongolia (14)
