Sister taxa: Albanerpeton cifellii, Albanerpeton galaktion, Albanerpeton gracilis, Albanerpeton inexpectatum, Albanerpeton nexuosus, Albanerpeton pannonicum
Type specimen: FMNH PR 805, a partial skull (right premaxilla). Its type locality is Forestburg, which is in an Albian marginal marine sandstone in the Paluxy Formation of Texas.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of United States (4: Oklahoma, Texas collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
