Type specimen: UTEP P.37.3.086, a partial skull (braincase, left supraorbital horncore,left maxilla, and right dentary). Its type locality is WPA Quarry L3 (TMM), which is in a Judithian interdistributary bay claystone in the Aguja Formation of Texas.
