Type specimen: RSM P2523.260, a mandible (incomplete right dentary containing the canine, p1, m3, and the broken roots of other teeth). Its type locality is Eastend "Scotty" site, RSM loc. 72F07-0022, which is in a Maastrichtian channel sandstone/siltstone in the Frenchman Formation of Canada.

Ecology: scansorial carnivore-durophage
