Type specimen: ACAP-M 1957, a limb element (complete uncrushed right humerus). Its type locality is Massecaps locality, Cruzy, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian floodplain claystone/sandstone in the Grès à Reptiles Formation of France.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Massecaps locality, Cruzy
