Type specimen: SMNS 80529/2, a partial skeleton (incomplete disarticulated skeleton lacking the skull, most of the left wing and the left foot). Its type locality is Frauenweiler, which is in a Rupelian estuary/bay claystone in Germany.

Ecology: volant frugivore

Distribution: found only at Frauenweiler
