Sister taxon: Conuropsis carolinensis
Type specimen: Amer. Mus. Nat. Hist. No. 6292a, a limb element (left humerus). Its type locality is Thomson Quarry, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in the Sheep Creek Formation of Nebraska.
Ecology: volant granivore
Distribution: found only at Thomson Quarry
