Type specimen: Amer. Mus. Nat. Hist. No. 6292, a limb element (distal end of left tarso-metatarsus). Its type locality is Thomson Quarry, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in the Sheep Creek Formation of Nebraska.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Thomson Quarry
